Scott Weiland In and OUT of Jail Already!

Rocker Scott Weiland checked himself in to the Van Nuys Municipal Court Lockup on Monday to begin serving his 8 day DUI sentence.

And, he was released THAT SAME DAY, PerezHilton.com has learned.

Scott went in at 8:55 A.M yesterday and at 6:54 P.M. he was let go - a free man.

This goes to tell you that our jsutice system is completely screwed up. I am sick and tired of the retarded celebrities who constantly are getting off with little to no time served of their sentence. Califronia, I believe caters to the celebs and that is why people are getting pissed off. We should all be like OJ, he can commit murder and walk way. Or maybe we could be like Paris (don't forget the cops let her out early, until people made a big stink about it), Nicole, Lindsey or Scott and do something stupid like drive drunk or get busted with drugs and still walk away with a sentence of less than a day in jail. These celebraties are mocking the justice system because the courts allow them to basically get away with any crime that they can commit. It's time that we the peopel start asking for the sentences for crimes just like the ones that these people can get. All I see is favortism in a screwed up judicial system.

People get released the same day all the time - regular people not just celebs.
The jails are overcrowded and early kickouts as they call them happen for people that have not committed violent crimes (robberies, rape, gun offenses etc).
I know an older African American gentlemen who got 6 mos. for a non-violent offense and got out the same day. Have you people never heard of this practice?
It happens everyday to everyday people.

I spoke to Scott last month in a hotel elevator and he looks pretty fucking good for a guy whose been on drugs for most of his adult life! I can't wait until seeing the new Stone Temple Pilot shows. Let's hope he spend his hard-earned cash on his family and decent things and gets clean for good!
