Very nice. FYI: Europe is big on country music. Germany's unofficial national anthem is 'Take Me Home Country Roads'. Any where you go in Europe, you will hear country music. Not the crap they play today in the states, which is actually pop, but old school country .. like this clip.

Thank you for posting this and saying the good things you did. I was at one of his concerts on Friday in Oslo (with many other non Norwegians, who had travelled many km and hours to be there) where Kurt sang this in the middle of his set. He is a fabulous live artist. The love he shows for performing just oozes from the stage. Kurt's range of genre is very wide and he writes majority of his own material.

Hi Perez, just wanted to thank you so much for giving Kurt some long-overdue international recognition! He is an amazing artist (understatement), someone that "Idol" in any country should be grateful to be associated with, and he's even better live - I was one of the non-Norwegians at the concert that am on post #56 mentioned. Worth every penny spent and every inch travelled.

Kurt Nilsen has an amazing voice and is very radio friendly. I would love to be able to buy his Cd's here in the US, but have had to order his last 2 recent Cd's from a company in Norway. I would love to see him go international. Check out his My Space page to listen to more of his music.

I've always loved Kurt as an artist of course. When he won World Idol I do remember Simon Cowell said that if this was a radio cometition he would have won without question. And he did, on TV.!!
He is such a great artist in Norway. A few years ago Bryan Adams was in Norway and Kurt was hired in to do the warm up, and people said after that the reason why they came was Kurt. How cool!!
