10 Years Too Late?

MTV's animated 90's show Beavis and Butthead could be making its way to the big screen as a live-action feature, according to creator Mike Judge.

Judge recalls that at one point Johnny Depp wanted to play Beavis – with Marlon Brando as Butthead.

How insanely brilliant would that have been????

“For some reason, I used to hate the idea for years,” says Judge of a live-action Beavis & Butthead. "Now, I think maybe there’s something there.”

Two names being bandied about are Sean William Scott and Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder.

We're not sure about this idea. Sounds like it could be really bad…and dated.

      I think it is crazy funny, it's worth the shot. Beavis and Butthead are amazing. If it sucks who cares, it would never ruin the actual show. All the old shows are making a comeback - why not this one. But the laughs of the characters have to be perfect!

      I so agree with John Heder for Butthead. He's got a deep voice for it and Napoleon Dynamite to this won't be much of a transition. BUt SWS for Beavis??? I don't think so. SWS isn't like Beavis at all. However, I do have a great suggestion for Beavis (thx to Perez) who looks like him and acts like an asshole like him ….. SPENCER PRATT!!!! Just imagine the Cornholio!

      Radiohead is the headliner today because no one wants CRAP like fallout boy

      What a great idea! Those of us that grew up with it now have money to spend, which is what made Transformers such a hit. I'm only 33 and pine for the day new versions of the shows I grew up on are produced. Not everything has to be for and about teens. And by the way, the movie was fantastic when it came out. It might not be as great now because of what has come out since but it was amazing for it's time.
