Jessica Simpson reportedly got good and wasted the day John Meyer "went public" with that thing he's having with Jennifer Aniston.
Jess was said to be very upset about John - not Tony Romo, the guy who JUST dumped her.
Romo supposedly dumped Simpson because she never really got over Mayer.
A tore up Jess dived into a 4 hour drinking session last week at Mexicali Cocina Cantina in L.A. to numb the pain she was feeling. Joining her was BFF Cacee Cobb and Cobb's boy, Scrubs actor Donald Faison.
Simpson got so plastered that she had to call her mom, Tina, for a ride home. (Thankfully she didn't drink and drive).
Cobb was reportedly shitfaced too, so she couldn't motor Jessica home. Cacee was SO drunk that she barfed under the table they were at.

I have nothing against Jessica at all… Im pretty indifferent. But I will say this. I always used to stick up for Jessica when people made comments about how dumb she was. Although I had never seen her talk or her show Newlyweds, I assumed people were stereotyping her because she is blonde. So I would always, always stick up for her.
Then about a year ago, I finally got to see her on a talk show. I was so disappointed. The girl really is STUPID. I mean literally DUMB AS ROCKS. I was really shocked at how dumb she sounded. I've never seen such a true-blue airhead before. I actually feel bad for her.
And for all those who claim she blew it with Nick…. I eventually saw a few episodes of Newlyweds, and frankly, the guy treated her like a dumb bitch. He was always rolling his eyes or snapping at her… making her look stupid. Granted, she may be dumb, but would YOU tolerate your own husband always acting irritated with you? The man wasn't very nice on the episodes I saw. He treated her like she was a pain in his ass. So I'm not so sure she had such a good thing with him…. he seemed to degrade her constantly.

I'm curious as to why I never hear much about Jess' singing career? Many years ago, before she married Nick and became famous, I turned on SNL and watched this man and woman duet perform a song. I was amazed at what a wonderful singer the female was… she had the most beautiful voice. When I told my friends about it, it turns out - it was Jessica and Nick (when they were dating)! I had never heard of either until way later…. so it wasn't her popularity that caught my attention. It was her beautiful voice.
Did she lose her great voice or something? People make fun of her singing career and I'm curious as to why…
