Simon Hearts David Cook
Simon Cowell recently revealed to Blender magazine that he thinks David Cook should walk away with this season's American Idol title.
And he may!
Idol's King of Mean tells the mag, "I think he's done more to deserve it over the eleven weeks. He's taken more risks, he's done things with certain songs that have been more interesting. If I'm gonna base it on who has done the best performances over the live shows, David Cook deserves to win."
Simon also voiced his displeasure with booted contestant Jason Castro.
Cowell said, "He just gave up - I get frustrated over that."
He also hints that he thinks youngin' David Archuletta has no personality.
Can't hate on Simon. He calls it as he sees it!

That David Cook guy reminds me of Homer Simpson. His sleepy eyes routine makes me sick because I just know and feel that it's just artificial, a façade. David Cook,in my opinion, is not original. The songs/arrangements he sang that Simon considered original were just copied off the original artists. It's obvious how Simon is manipulating the people watching from home. He thinks that everyone actually listens to him. So if he says David Cook should win that we all should vote that way. "Yes, Master!" Whatever!
Sometimes i just love Simon he never has favorites and just says it how it is.
David Cook we all know deserves to win,, but we also know Archuleta is more popular among the young voters so we be screwed.

Ya know if everyone of you voted for David Cook then archuleta would have no chance. Archuleta belongs with Disney. I would not want to sit for 2 hours listening to him sing for his daddy…. I WOULD love to listen to David Cook though.

Jason didn't give up. Neil Diamond week sucked because the songs choices were boring (not Jason's fault) and for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame week, he stayed true to himself with his song selections and I think did a great job. So he forgot some lyrics! So did the other contestants! The judges didn't seem to care when Archuletta and Brooke forgot their lyrics. Simon was especially hard on Jason for whatever reason…maybe he's jealous because Jason is so much more attractive than him?
