On Cloud Nine

Exciting news musical theater lovers!

As we mentioned earlier this month, actor Javier Bardem has dropped out of the Rob Marshall-directed feature film adaptation of the musical Nine.

His reason? Exhaustion apparently.

So, now it seems they might have found a replacement.

A WONDERFUL replacement!

The gifted Daniel Day-Lewis is in talks to take over the lead role of Guido Contini, a film director experiencing personal and creative crisis while trying to balance all the women in his life.

Already on board to play all the women in his life are Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Judi Dench, and Marion Cotillard.

The Oscar winner Day-Lewis has yet to comment on whether he has officially accepted the role or not.

It would be great to say Daniel try a new challenge - a musical!!!!

I don't think he's a wonderful replacement at all. I sure hope he can sing. I love this musical and I want to see a wonderful movie made of it. I just hope I am wrong and he wins me over.

Daniel Day-Lewis and the ONE HIT WONDER Javier Bordem should not even be in the same paragraph when taling about talent. Javier "one hit wonder" Boredom, got lucky that his movie was with the Co"IN" Brothers move. BTW, did anyone get that fucking movie? Am I the only one that thinks we got BAMBOOZLED? FUCK YOU JAVIER! Are you daft? There is no good replacement to Javier Bardem. Besides, don't you find Daniel Day Lewis to be a bit of a space cadet?

to JOHNNYDO: you're such an idiot! You don't know Javier Bardem just because you dont watch foreign films but he is a fine actor! yes he is younger than Daniel Day-Lewis but by the time he reaches Lewis' age, he will have as many Oscars as Lewis! BTW, he won many awards for the film The Sea Inside which won the best foreign film Oscar. In it, he played a quadriplegic and he doesn't have to resort to the method acting nonsense which Daniel Day-Lewis relies on!!!!

Ah! They're gonna screw up Nine! I mean we know Nicole can sing, but what about everyone else?!?
