Money, money, money!!!!!!
Michael Moore is reportedly banking $20 million for the sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11.
The follow-up is expected to cost $7 million to make, which means Moore would pocket $13 million, regardless of how well the flick does.
Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed $219 million.
Good for Moore!
It's called being a savvy business man, right?
You know he didn't get as much as the studio did of the $219 million made off the first installment!

Totally worthy. He's an incredible documentary filmmaker. It's not like he's a puppet actor just repeating lines from a script. He has to make creative choices with his films, so he definitely deserves at least what he's getting.

No, it's called CAPITALISM and FREE MARKET PRINCIPLES! Something the Democrats want to take away from the U.S.! Why is it that he can make millions upon millions for the tripe he produces, but other people who make that much money are supposed to shoulder the tax burden of the entire country, not to mention take care of the good-for-nothings in the welfare system? Moore said before the success of Fahrenheit he had a hard time getting anyone to back his projects because of how controversial they are. The money gives him the freedom to make more documentaries without having to answer to anyone. He’s not greedy he is trying to educate people about what is really going on.

Moore is a national treasure, and if your country doesn't realize it, a dozen other countries would line up for the privilege, the (brilliant and humorous) documentaries, the employment, and the tax dollars.

Moore is contributing as much as he reasonably can within his journalistic field of endeavor. When he started this he was dixie chicked in every quarter, but he kept going. Now folks have taken a second look at his documentaries, because many chickens have come home to roost. He publicly threw his endorsement to Barack Obama, so he has a political conscience. Your expectations of him are unreasonable as they stand. Moore is a huge giver, financially and otherwise.
