when first seeing this…i thought…man how did she win…then it occured to me…oh, because she's black…not being racisist, just honest…i'm starting to believe more and more that this show is fixed because if it wasn't..she wouldn't have won, neither would have ruben. You can't put a black person against a white person up against each other in anything because the min the white person wins, all of the black people start hollering racisim, and then they sit there and they wonder why they are being stereotyped…well…tell your "brothas and sistas" to stop acting the stereotype…

First of all, lay off of her performance. Are we saying that she did a bad job because she didn't performe like she wanted to fuck everyone in the room? Just look at all her peers, with the exception of a few, they allow, no insist, that their good looks and sexuality make up a healthy portion of who they are as an artist. If you refer back to Big Mamma Thorton, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin (the Godmother herself) and Patti LaBelle, just to name a few, you will see that type of a performance - gutsy, passionate, frenetic, loud and very soulful. It was about the voice and what was behind the voice, never about their tits and vag cause they wanted the respect that James Brown and Otis Redding were getting. With all that said, her outfit was a hot shitty mess. She has a great shape and that outfit looked cheap and ill fitting.

i am not a fan of american idol, but i thought that was a great performance!

shes fantastic! this is my first time listening to her, and she has great energy, great attitude, and a great voice…i'd buy that single, and jam out on it for the next few weeks…
