We're hearing loud whispers that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married this weekend in…San Diego.
Speculation that the nuptials will be there reached a fever pitch on Thursday when suddenly single sister Jessica Simpson was spotted in S.D.

Why would they have a stop over in San Diego on the way to Cabo? You can get a direct flight. I heard about it being in La Jolla. I've stayed at La Valencia. It's the place where Nick took Jessica on Newlyweds when they went to Del Mar. It's a historic hotel.

Jessica was in San Diego last week performing for the troops. She stayed at a hotel (I know this because my friend saw her at the hotel where she works) up in north county…not in La Jolla where everyone is speculating the wedding will be.
