Still Stayin' Alive!

beegees.jpg

Bee Gee brother Robin Gibb revealed recently that the bros should have a musical based on their greatest hits ready within the next 18 months.

Sexual!

This will be a follow up to their first foray into musical theater, Saturday Night Fever.

Fever premiered in London's West End in 1998 and stayed alive for 2 years.

The Bee Gees are song writing geniuses. We hope they develop a story line for the musical that's up to par with their tunes.

Mamma Mia may not be deep, but it's fucking fun! We picture the same - Bee Gee style.

By inference, your use of this particular picture implies all 3 of the BeeGees are working on this project but that is impossible, given that Maurice (on the right in the photo) died over 4 years ago during emergency surgery.
      Do your homework, Perez.

he's showing the original line up, retard. if he didn't, you would have been bitching that he wasn't showing respect to the brother that passed away. keep trying to act smarter. you might get there one of these days.

If anyone has ever seen the Documentary on thier lives ( not the One Night Stand DVD ) including all thier hits and ups and downs - Being written off as " broken hearted BEE GEES " way past thier used by date / by all critics in mid 70's and to then Barry Gibb discovering he an sign in HIGH HIGH FALSETTO THEN come back with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and blow the whole music industry out of the water and ….Its Incredible !!!! Check it out !!!

I love the Bee Gees. Barry was incredibly hot back in the day, around the 1980's….with his lionesque mane of hair, great smile and wearing tight white pants….his wife was soooo lucky. aw well…

      36

Robin and Barry have seemed lost since Maurice died. This will be a nice tribute to him. I hope it's wildly successful.

Once read Barry Gibb's style of singing in the "Saturday Night Fever Days" described as "castrato". Sure the Bee Gees were good in their day, and came out with some great music some of which defined the 80s. Who can forget the filmclip for "Staying Alive", the three of them strutting along with Barry all hair and tight, white, satin suit? Maybe that's how he got to sing so high? It will be interesting to see what the two remaining brothers come up with.

    39. TJ says – reply to this

      39

They are still "bros", but they're down to two remaining since Maurice died a few years ago…. you might mention that when you show of photo of the trio.

People who use the term 'sexual' as a synonym for 'good' should be beaten to death with meat tenderizing mallets in front of their loved ones.

Their pre- disco stuff is just under the Beatles for songwriting. There are 8 or 9 albums they did before Saturday Night Fever that are full of great songs like "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Words", "Massachusetts", etc.
