It's under way!

The Pete Wentz / Asslee Simpson wedding is definitely taking place, either this weekend or sooner possibly.

Multiple sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that a white limo was spotted outside the Chicago-area home of Wentz's parents on Thursday morning.

Seems like Pete's folks are heading out for the big soiree already!

Additionally, there is buzz that recently dumped Jessica Simpson will take ex-boyfriend Tony Romo as her date to the wedding to "save face."

That's very kind of him, if true, to let her do that!

      UGH - that is Jessica's whole problem! She only cares about publicity and what others think!!! She's such a media whore, it is no wonder she always ends up getting dumped. She left Nick, because she thought the world thought she could do better (and certainly her creepy father thought so). And, now, karma is biting her in her spoiled rotten, self-absorbed, superficial, materialistic, greedy, unprincipled ASS. I really hope Tony doesn't go.       I say if weddings and constant breakups keep those two from singing then I'm all for it. Hopefully the honeymoon will last a lifetime and we won't be subjected to his shitty band either. It's a win win for everyone. My uncle lives near his family and he sees them out every once in a while and they are reported to be really happy about it although his dad mostly talks about how Jennifer Love Hewitt has awesome tits.

      This is why Hollywood mariages don't work. It's all about pubicity stunts. We can write this one off before it even begin.
      If papa lied about Jess and Tony's break up just to peak more attention to Pete and Assly wedding, then that is a very sick thing to do. I should not be surprise-it's a very sick family.
