Ass is going on tour this summer, and she is playing state fairs and House of Blues venues across America.
Ouch!
Simpson just went on a club tour earlier this year, and when she toured her last album, she played LARGE venues.
Now, she's at a House of Blues near you!

Her cd is actually pretty good. It's got an 80's inspired theme. It's not her best but people should give her a chance. At least she's not her sister…talk about a fuck up. she goes out there and is different and true to her self. How far do you expect her to get with her father and sister in her life…they're ridiculously pathetic. I think Ashlee is amazing.

her cd did do crap, but nearly every album on the billboards charts in the top 10 did crap as well. The only album that did well based on sales was E-MC2 Mariah.
Ashley only sold 50,000 copies 1st week sales but that put her album in the top 10 for that week! The music industry is declining thats why, no one is buying albums anymore.
Well what would she expect? Everyone knows now that for sure she's a shitty singer and it was only the techs in a studio making her sound half decent.

Smaller venues are sometimes a choice, and are more intimate, personal and can be a lot more fun to tour.

May be she is not singing at a large venue because she is pregnant. Perez only sees from his own view. Whenever he does not like someone, he says bad things otherwise, he writes good things.

Why would that hurt? Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know she was never a huge music success/star to begin with. Was there ever a time she was selling out huge arena's? So I don't see why playing state fairs' & House of Blue's being a step down, it's simply where she's at. One day if she makes it big she will move up to real venues.
She is coming to HOB on June 16th! I know I am going! Even though her music career may have gone "down the drain" as some people say, I still like her music & if she is coming to Myrtle Beach, I'm coming!

Actually, a lot of really good acts have played the House of Blues and the venue has nothing to do with how good an artist is. Panic at the Disco, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound and Phantom Planet have played several HOBs throughout the country and smaller venues and that has nothing to do with the way their musical carreer is going. Stick to what you know, Perez. It's definetely not music.

Just so you know perez, Ashlee performed at the house of blues during her last album tour so perhaps that is just a venue she enjoys. Many artists value the intimacy of small venues more than massive impersonal concert theatres.

Freedom Hill Amphitheatre is *not* a state fair but an outdoor arena. It's not a huge stadium but it's respectable. Granted I dislike Ashlee, it's not that bad. Also, it's "Sterling Heights, MI" not "Sterlin"

You're website is so depressing. You equate success with mainstream success and that is a terrible message. You bash people for their looks in a way that is unfair and inhumane. If you write all of this, and stand by all of this, you are a very VERY judgmental person.
Maybe Ashlee Simpson like to perform. Maybe she loves it. It's what makes her happy wherever she gets to do it. Why do you have to rub it in her face that she's not making as much money as she once did? There are plenty of bands that have had mainstream success, but no longer do, that continue touring. Because they love to do it.
If you love to bash people in this horrific way, than you certainly are entitled. But I hope you know, I don't find your website entertaining anymore. It makes me sad and angry.
