The search for 90210 (2.0)'s daddy is over!

As has been rumored, Rob Estes of Melrose Place fame will be joining the cast of the new spin-off show, PerezHilton.com can reveal.

This is good news and all but why no word about Brenda?

We want Brenda!!!

      Rob is an awesome choice. Very good actor and nice on the eyes. I always thought he was a hottie. Loved him on Suddenly Susan also. Although I am not anxious to see the troublemaker Shannon Doherty return. She is boring. I am sure she will have a cameo or something. Ratings and all. I personally would l love to see Luke Perry return!

      Robs not a bad pick. but I personally would have rather seen one of the old 90210 guys in that part. Dylan or Brian, they were definitely the hottest!!! I still watch 90210 on soapnet all the time. Though seeing Brenda return would definitely peek my curiosity to watch I seriously doubt that ones gonna happen.

      I'm sad about WMC, it was one of my favorite new shows this season. And I'm not excited about this spin off. I will give it a chance though, now because Rob Estes is HOT and I will seriously watch anything he is in. But I don't have high hopes for the show. It just seems lame. Both he and Lucille from AD deserve a better show, but sadly they aren't getting better offers, or shows that last.

      Although I loved 90210 back in the day, now that I'm older, I can't even bear to watch that dumb ass show. I mean, it was DUMB AS HELL. So I doubt the original 90210 fans will be watching this show much.

      And the audience who WOULD watch this show… are they even old enough to remember the original?

      This show won't last past one season. Come up with some new material for crying out loud.

      This was our show back in the day! Oh the girls nights we had when this show was on. Good times… good times! NOW to the matter at hand, if you want drama then you gotta bring back the queen of drama, like it or not that's Brenda baby!!!       now..if memory serves me correctly…and i could be totally wrong…but didn't his character start on on 90210…..dating kelly taylor??? If that is the case…and he's the new father…isn't the premise that the family moves back to 90210 because rob's mother lives there and he becomes the principal of west beverly? and his ol love interest kelly taylor is now the guidance counselor?? or am i remembering incorrectly - at this age…anything is possible….

      Rob Estest is THE HOTTEST man living today! I think its a total shame he hasn't found that right role yet, maybe he should start movies? Rob Estes's character on Melrose Place was Kyle….he was never on 90210.
