The America Ferrera we all met two years ago when Ugly Betty started is officially dead.
In her place is this Eva Longoria clone.
And that's not a bad thing!
Like a swan, America has blossomed into a full-fledged, super glam Hollywood star.
Here she is outside the Ed Sullivan theater for a taping of Letterman in NYC on Thursday.

I think it is sad that she feels she has to lose weight to stay in the public eye. I think she looked better before when she had some meat on her bones. She was healthy before, never fat! She is trying to conform into something that she isn't, sad…. I used to appreciate the image she was portraying to young women but now I can see that she isn't anything new or important to the growth of the entertainment world…

She looks better thinner, but I think her niche is being the smart, chubby girl. She is still considered fat by Hollywood standards and I don't think she has the looks or flair to compete with the Eva Longorias of the world. It'll be interesting to see how being thinner affects her career. I still love her, tho!
