The America Ferrera we all met two years ago when Ugly Betty started is officially dead.

In her place is this Eva Longoria clone.

And that's not a bad thing!

Like a swan, America has blossomed into a full-fledged, super glam Hollywood star.

Here she is outside the Ed Sullivan theater for a taping of Letterman in NYC on Thursday.

What a transformation!

Cna't agree more….What a hipocrit - I heard that they are gradually "improving Betty's looks" too….Have you noticed - the hair is shiny -not puffy and frizzy, the cloths and accessories not quite as strange…The crazy is: I thought the point of the show was that looks aren't everything, it's what's inside that counts and that you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful….Sigh….I guess they America/Ugly Betty Show is changing the message: Be Skinny! You're only Successful if your Beautiful!

I think America is gorgeous and talented and while I don't begrudge her the right to tone up for whatever reason–personal or professional–I'm truly sad to see one of the few fuller-figured women in Hollywood get thinner.

I honestly preferred her before she lost the weight and made this transformation. Before she claimed that she loved her body when it was thicker. She was never fat, in fact, in the real world, to see her walking down the street she would just be a very good looking girl. I think she felt the pressure from Hollywood and fell into what so many other celebrities do when trying to please other people. She looks good, but I've lost some respect for her.
