Fugly nose and dreadful English teeth: Chris Martin is NO
rock star. Plus, he appears to consider himself The Beatle . . .

two questions, first for "perez staff"? (this is a real question)
Do bands/performers have to give permission to be on "PerezTV"? Like is this their form of advertising?

Question 2 (not as serious): doesn't EVERYONE know that advertising here, while well-read, is THE kiss of death. i have been doing research, and while perez's insane opinions have no impact, advertising on this site actually has a reverse effect. Evidently, when questioned, people respond (at a 70% + average) that this site compromises the credibility of an object, as well as its quality. Evidently TMobile + two tv shows (not to be mentioned as they are funders, even though they are "happy to be known, just not listed") amongst countless others, hire people like me to research their advertising on Perez ). Tell me what you readers think? (And don't worry, even if you love PerezHilton.com, this can't count as "research" — it will fill in the "additional comments unfounded by research methods."

Coldplay is going out on a limb and trying a new sound. Personally, I think it is wonderful. I love the concept of the song but they may could have picked a bit more catchy single to intriduce the upcoming album. MAJOR FAN

The new Coldplay single sounds a bit like the Phil Collins single "hold on". not too sure if I like it. Maybe it will grow on me.

Looks like a vid from the 90`s… and a bit low budget, but the song is good.

steers away from their individuality and sounds like a wannabe pop song. i love their older stuff

I'm a HUGE coldplay fan and I have waited to hear this album for sooo long now….but I have to say I'm a tiny bit dissappointed in both the song and the video. I's not BAD, just not as good as I had hoped :( But still…can't wait to hear the rest!!!

Song Genesis, video U2 and I hated those bands the first time round. I do hope they do Dire Straits next - then I can really hate them. There's a club in South London called The Venue might have room for this "tribute" act.

the video was shot a couple of months ago in different parts of Sicily, Italy (Enna, Taormina and even on the vulcano Etna, still full of snow)
They were Jim Kerr's guest while filming (Simple Minds's singer) who has a beautiful house since many many years very close to he location shown in the video. Too bad they didn't show all teh beauties that Sicily has, but they did catch that little decadence belonged to old nobles mansions. Too bad the song doesn't excite me that much.
