I don't know, you've seen one Indiana Jones movie, you've seen them all. I really don't see how this bring could bring anything new and fresh to the franchise, especially since Harrison Ford is far from being new and fresh himself. You KNOW he only did it for the money.
SPIELBERG has NEVER released a pre-screening for any of his movies, so why all the fuss that its an indication that the movie's a dud?
I've been waiting for this one. I think it will be my favorite of the summer season.
I think Harrison should have stopped with the last one. I can't see him in this role, anymore. He is my dad's age and I am almost 40! Yikes. He looks frail and elderly, though he is buffed as much as possible for a man his age. I am sure the fifty and sixty year old men will love this movie, it gives them hope.
Marion Ravenwood (my on-screen idol) is back! The drink-you-under-the-table, Nazi-ass-kickin' love interest from Raiders! Yay!!!! A happy ending!!!!

I wanna hear more about Shania Twain's divorce. I never could figure out why a hard rock producer like Mutt Lange married a country singer. Then again, I never did figure out if she was really country–or rock & roll. Neither did she apparently. Her albums were the musical equivalent of schizophrenia. It's clear why Shania married Mutt though–to further her career. Her ex-BF is probably laughing his head off. Karma is a bitch. So is Shania. She wouldn't let her own brother visit her while she was on tour. One year she wasn't allowed back in the country after the Grammys because her skanky dress was too short. She also changed her name and lied about being Indian, which is a disgrace to First Nations people everywhere. She makes Avril Lavigne look like a saint. Shania was actually the one who got Avril started in the business. Birds of a feather–or bitches of a feather–flock together. Avril is a country girl too…or maybe she's rock…or country…or rock..or country…or rock..or maybe she's both. COUNTRY mixed with ROCK produces COCK. Kinda like Bon Jovi.

I'm excited for this movie, I'm not gonna lie. Is it weird that I find Harrison Ford hot adn he's like 160 years old? I'm glad the reviews are good. I'm getting a little tired of substance falling short of hype.

Re: Matt – Matt, you speak the truth! I don't know how much Perez is being paid to spread positive ink oabout this stinker of a seuqel, but the buzz so far is very MIXED. The movie only premiered today at Cannes, and there is word that the audience laughed during serious parts, that Cate Blanchett is the worst 'Indy' villian in the entire series, and, most damning of all, that Shia LaBeouf is HORRIBLE. I guess that we should be grateful that Shit-ia doesn't poop in his pants, reach down, and eat a fudge snack right on-screen!!!!!!!

Actually Disappointed, I've read a dozen reviews or so and most if not all praise LaBeouf's performance, though it's true that Blanchett is kind of love or hate. I've also read reports of unintentional humor and a few boos (extremely expected at Cannes), but the audience also cheered, a rare Cannes occurence. Currently it has 77% or positive reviews on RottenTomatoes, 82% when it comes to the "Cream of the Crop", with glowing reviews from Roger Ebert, Variety, Entertainment Weekly and Time Magazine.
