    She can't sing a bit and her performance was NOT over the top and she did not bring it. I can go to any bar and hear people sing alot better. Not only was it bad but I could not make out all the words. Country has better talent then her.

    i think taylor did amazing she kicks ass live i saw her in vancouver when she went on tour with brad paisley and she got a standing ovation. Overall she's absolutely amazing for a 18 year old and is nothing like avril lavigne… atleast she sang live and didn't need to have back up music

    Hard to believe Janis Ian was this age when she wrote "Seventeen", which she sang and played with steller prodigy. The dichotomy and irony of it is painful. Taylor Swift has talent as a SONGWRITER, and obviously she's beautiful, but the singing isn't even as good as Britney Spears at 12. Terrible. Can pole dancing be far behind?

    I think the performance aspect was good..but vocally, she sounded the best when she was trying to SING at the beginning with the guitar instead of the yelling thing she did the rest of the song…

    Actualy she was great… and shes a great role model for are young girls… At the end of the song it actauly looks like she couldnt belive how good it ended up turing out and the crowds respons.. She looked totaly amazed as SHE SHOULD BE… All of her performances that I've seen have been great GO TAYLOR!!! YOU ROCK!

    she sang out of tune the entire song and it sounded like a redneck version of Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" and the performance itself was like avril turning into a britney into a kelly clarkson ala MTV music awards finale in the rain. btw, kelly brought it so much harder in that rain performance than this little girl did. womp womp

    she's amazingggggg
    and this performance was spectacular, i've watched it about a dozen times and it doesn't get old.
    so what if she copied past performances? this performance was still way better than most teen performers today.

    taylor swift is a very multi-talented, gifted 18 year old and some of you guys should really cut her some slack.
