According to TV's Extra, David Cook's ailing brother will be in the audience to watch his brother compete in the final American Idol two shows of the season, tonight and Wednesday.

Adam Cook, who is fighting brain cancer, reportedly flew in to LA Monday morning accompanied by a medic nurse.

Due to Adam's battle with cancer, it was unexpected and unlikely that he would be attending the American Idol finale shows.

Simon Cowell picked Cook to win Idol this season.

Yep, I agree that David Cook should be this year's American Idol. His voice amd vocal style are wonderful, and his musical taste is flawless. He knows who he is and what he should sing–in other words, he's ready to record, ready to be a huge star. David Archuleta has a phenomenal voice and he's a sweet kid (some say he is too saccharine-sweet to be interesting), but he is not yet ready. His stage presence isn't electrifying, and his taste in songs is pretty clueless. I think one day Archuleta will be a huge star, but he needs time. David Cook is absolutely ready right now. I would buy a record by him in a millisecond.

Everyone is saying that David A. sounds the same in all of his songs..but SO DOES David C. He never comes out and sings something other than rock..EVER! So what's the difference? Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!
