Eric Hutchinson has officially arrived!

The troubadour for a younger generation is having his debut album, Sounds Like This, released by a major label, and they're putting some big bucks into him.

So nice that others are finally seeing the potential in Eric we saw long ago.

      I'm sure Perez must get paid for promoting some of these guys. This guy is so obnoxious, I saw him once at Hotel Cafe (only because he opened up for the act I actually paid money to see) and he was terrible.

      LOOOOVE this song! Love him so much! Two things about these comments. "Hyuck Hyuck Hyuck" (clever..not), the laughing is from the recording, which Perez (as far as I know) wasn't at. Plus his laugh sounds NOTHING like that. And Kristen, there are a THOUSAND people who sound like Jason Mraz if you think Eric does. If his voice sounds the same, that's not his fault.

      Ok, I have E-Hutch's entire first CD from 3 years ago when he visited my small state school in NY….I was a huge fan, especially of the song "Jettison" and to hear his over-poppy version of this song really makes me sad. Like Weezer going from the Pinkerton and the Blue Album to the song "Beverly Hills" :o ( Don't lose the acoustic sound, it worked for you!!!

      This is great stuff! i actually discovered this song like TWO YEARS ago when one of our local roots public radio stations had him live, in-studio. the station put the live cut on their compilation album. it's a really great version. ever since then i've been waiting for him to get some recognition. glad the world finally came around!

      i love eric hutchinson! ive been to three of his concerts so far and he is absolutely amazing live, plus hes the coolest funniest guy ever! its so great that hes finally getting more recognition for all of his achievements!
