Piano-playing musicians usually have a hard time of "cracking" the mainstream, but they are some of our favorites.
Brendan James is a singer/songwriter, and his music definitely falls under that genre.
His songs and voice remind us of the little known (but loved by us) Casey Stratton.
Green is one of our favorite songs of Brendan's. And, no, it's not a song of money.
It's a pretty pretty mid-tempo number about love.
We love pretty songs. We love pretty voices. We love pianos.

Brendan James came to UNC (where he graduated from) and performed this spring and I was there…. he was amaaaaaazing! He said the song "Green" was about a girl he used to work with at Urban Outfitters… I thought that was cute. Thanks for featuring him!!

Brendan went to my alma mater and I recently saw him in concert there. He was absolutely AMAZING and sounded even better when he sang with his former a capella group the Clef Hangers! AMAZING!
I went to his MySpace page and watched both the videos..and this guy is TOTALLY amazing!!

I am from Chapel Hill NC and Brendan plays in Chapel Hill a lot. I've seen him a few times and he is great live as well as down to earth. I think he has some stuff on Itunes and should have a record out soon if I remember correctly.
