Hayden Panettiere is all for the whales!
The Heroes star is going to auction off two items on eBay starting on Wednesday to help raise money for her favorite charity, SaveTheWhalesAgain.com.
Hayden is encouraging everyone to bid on her eBay items, which will go up online at 7:00pm tomorrow night and will end of May 30th.
One item is a pair of tickets to a fundraising dinner to be held at Eva Longoria's restaurant, Beso. It will also include a personal photo op with Hayden.
If they pay a lot can they get to first base????

The second item is a private whale watching tour off the coast of Santa Barbara, again with Hayden alongside.
That's nice of her.
Hayden recently said, "So go the oceans, so goes life on Earth. Please join us in our fight to save these beautiful creatures, and preserve the quality of life in this world for our children, and generations to come!"
As for her mission, she says, "My mission is to end whaling worldwide, while raising public awareness to all the other threats dolphins and whales face including toxic pollution, noise pollution, global warming, loss of habitat, entanglement in fishing nets and potential extinction… Raise your voice; it's time to Save the Whales…AGAIN!"

I believe she helps animals because there is a need to help them. Also, she obviously has a passion to help them and she loves them. When you see the beauty and importance in everything, there are no limits to who or what you can help. We really don't know what other causes she's involved in, but animals and the environment are great causes. What if everyone helped only humans because they deem them more important? Where would that leave everything else? As someone earlier wrote, if you feel the need and passion to help people, great! Cheers to you! Go for it. But to not see the importance in helping all living creatures, I just don't get it????? Hypothetically if aliens were to come to this planet and they were more advanced and intelligent than us and viewed us as below them, how would we want them to treat us? What if they took over and had control over all our resources and refused to help us, where would that leave us? I'm sorry, but only a young soul, or God forbid, a darker soul, would think we are the only important things on earth and feel so self-centered. UM…The Australian Government has placed bans on whaleing in its waters…where most of the endangered species live…so why are you saying that we will cause the problem? I dont see how kangaroos came into the argument about whales but, as for moving them to another area, I dont know if you know this but we are having the worst drought we have had in years most of them are dying anyway, the kulling is preventing many of them from an excrutiating death, there is no place to move them…SO GO FUCK YOURSELF DUMB ASS… Oh and by they way we said SORRY!
I love eating whale! I've been raised on whale since I was a baby. Cooked, boiled even frozen… whale's the best! (Especially with Mrs. Dash). YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! You should see the village once a crew catches a whale - the entire town comes together to pull it on the beach, then we have a huge feast! We have a blanket toss (which is caribou skins sewn together that makes kind of a trampoline that people hold handles all around it, and people jump on it and get tossed in the air). At the end of the festival each family takes home bags full of meat for the long winter. Our traditions will never end, this is our heritage.

I feel natives, such as the American Indians of the past, aborigines, or others, as long as they humanely kill, treat animals with respect(as most of them do), and have reverence for all life, aren't the same as commerical industries for greed and profit. Even though I do not personally agree with some practices of others and feel culture doesn't necessarily equal right, I respect them, if they take into account reverence and respect for life, humanely treat and kill animals, do not pilage land and sea for greedy profits gains, or vanity, do not have bolstful pride, and do not have an intolerance or neutrality for the santity of all living creatures. I feel pride for one's culture should be paired with humility, tolerance, and humbleness. Peace.
