Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler has checked in to Las Encinas Hospital, the rehab facility where Dr. Drew practices in Pasadena, CA.

When contacted, Tyler's reps had no comment.

It's not clear what Tyler checked in to battle, though it is reported to be "substance" abuse.

EH, I had a feeling/notion that his engergy at the last concert of theirs I went to wasn't "natural". His engergy was boundless, he did acrobatics, he was AMAZING. But natural…nooo. Not so much. Still the absolute BEST live concert I've ever seen in my whole life is Aerosmith, 199____ can't remember lol.

Steven Tyler was a rock and roll genius, which was brutally murdered when Aerosmith released PUMP. Since then they are a good pop band, nothing genius. That being said, I do wish for his recovery just based off of the Gems album.

STEVEN TYLER is one of the greatest frontmen to have ever lived and lasted as long as he has. He still rocks every show Brad's Side, Joe's Side and Center Section2! Up and down the ramps, catwalks, stairs..even hung from a trapeze not too long ago. No wonder he needed foot surgery this winter. Probably took too many pain meds and wants to get clean. He just turned 60 years old in March. He is on one of the strictest meat and veggie diets and exercises like a fiend. Excellent health. An even better metabolism.
Sad that after all of these years he slipped back into bad habits. Ever since he and his wife split three years ago he has spiraled downward.
I pray he gets it together and the boys make one more for all of us Aerosmith fans out here.
I have been in love with him since I was 13…. my husband knows he is the one man I would break up our marriage for…..dont know what it is but I love him… swooooooooooooon.
