Re: Alexandra – As a non-drinker, and going through a new marriage late in life, I can tell you that ETOH will "let" anyone do anything. My very precious husband cannot remember anything after one beer. He is in treatment, as well. We love each other dearly, but have done and said things that we could not believe on videotape. This NOW explains to me why Kristen allowed herself to do the porn poses. ALCHOHOLISM COMES IN ALL FLAVORS, COLORS, INCOME BRACKETS (WE ARE SINGLE DIGIT MULTI M's), AND MY PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, BOTH DEMS AND REPUBS, ALL WHITES, UPPER MIDDLE CLASS TO LOWER UPPER CLASS, DRANK LIKE FISH IN THE BAHAMAS. Thanks for coming out, Kristin. I spent last weekend in the guest room!!!

Okay, but why doesn't she explain the photos of her working a fat cock? To me that screams for explanation over a past drinking problem. Admittedly she looks like she is having serious fun with that guy's beef stick, but it's out there and she's never said anything other than, "Not me."

God Bless her. Just take it one day at a time. My mom is a recovering alcoholic and she had to suffer, and suffer to hit a rock bottom, to finally get help, anf get sober…AND STAY sober. Kristin is a great example, and a courageous person to share that personal aspect of her life with the world. God Bless her!

As an alcoholic in recovery myself, I am happy to see someone well-known so strongly and bravely talk about a disease that has a negative stigma but is just as treatable as, say, diabetes.

She strikes me as a good person. She has a lot of warmth in her smile and her eyes. Maybe she's had personal pictures of her exposed by a bitter ex, but she's held her held up during the media scandal. Congrats to her for overcoming her alcoholism and staying sober. It can't be easy in that industry.

That's what's the disease is about - there's no one "type" of alcoholic! As someone stated earlier, they come in all shapes and sizes. Rich, poor, beautiful, brilliant, well-educated, high-powered, soccer moms, etc. Good for her, not an easy thing to do!

I don't think that people who break their wrist playing basketball are all drunk. I don't think the guys who smash their thumbs with a hammer are all drunk.
