It looks like the ratings are dropping hard for MTV's biggest scripted show, The Hills.
Viewership for last week's season finale were at a disappointing 3.8 million! That's a good one million below the show's December finale and its return in March.
Are people getting bored of the usual script or are they finally starting to realize that there's no reality in it????
Oh well, it seems like the ladies from The Hills might have to get a real job soon!
But what will they do for a living?
Did any of them finish college????
Do any of them have "real" work experience and not just The Hills staged work experience?
Where will the cast from The Hills end up?
Probably in another spin-off show with a new title.

Do the online viewings count? I usually don't have time to watch it premiere on MTV on Monday nights. I love The Hills and I make sure I catch it some time later in the week. I always watch it on MTV.com, followed by the Aftershow.
Everyone has also been having finals these past few weeks so it's more understandable that not many have watched and they can still catch it online later.

I loved the hills back when Heidi and LC were friends. .Now the entire war between them is getting really really old. Who fucking cares about a sex tape. No one really talks about it anyway. I personally stopped watching because of Heidi and Spencer. Their fights are SO fake…it's really awkward to watch. I think if they cut out speidi and gave more showtime to the boys (frankie, brodie, etc.) they could get away from the stale lauren/hiedi drama. Especially since Lauren isn't the one talking about it every 10 mins on TV…
THe hills has turned into a boring no end to the drama show. Lauren and Lo used to be awesome, but now they both are thriving on drama and ruining friendships. I actually feel bad for Heidi. Lauren and Audrina were great friends, but once they realized that the Speidi fued was getting old, Lauren ditched Audrina to start more drama. She is a 23 year old stuck in high school. I used to love the show and watched it religiously, but now i just feel bad for them.
Whitney Port is by far the most intriguing character on The Hills. If she got her own spin-off, you could call her a "sell out" all you wanted to, but I know I'd watch! That girl has C-L-A-S-S
The girls are really boring. This season probably sucked because they didn't even go out. It was just about their boring jobs. Plus, the girls aren't hot. C'mon, Lo and She-Pratt??? Is that the best they could do? We want to watch fun, outgoing, hot girls. I watch because I like to see all the hot spots they hit up; something that definitely lacked this season. I'm ready for a show on WEHO.
the finale in the december was notably better!! this seond part of the season sucked, they focused too much on heidi and spencer and they just aren't entertaining.
It's probably just because the majority of viewers are college aged and with finals and summer starting, I doubt they're sitting down to watch a finale
Does not surprise me since the last season was soooooo predictable, the first two seasons were great and then they started to get all scripted, and MTV got lazy filming and missing obvious things during editing, now I dont even watch it anymore

Perez….I think you need to STOP judging the girls of The Hills….well except for Heidi I hate her. But seriously this morning when you posted the video of you on your photo shoot you said that you wanted to put out a good line and not a crappy one like LC…I don't know what the fuck you are talking about there, because LC's fashion line is actually really good, so you shouldn't judge it…people like different things and I would suggest not bashing her line considering how she is in Fashion School…..and your not and never have been, I am just saying! The reason the ratings dropped was because you can watch it early on MTV..that is what I did because I can not stay up until 10 at night because I am pregnant and have to wake up at 5 am…..so I bet a lot of people did that. Look at how much publicity they are getting…I am sure they are more popular than ever…And keep showing LC and Stephen because thats the only part of LC anyone wants to see!!!!!!!

I watched the one where Heidi went to Vegas and Spencer followed her, I felt my braincells declining as I watched it, it all seems so fake and so scripted that I had to turn off. I wish they would come out and admit its all scripted.
