I don't disagree completely, I feel more and more kids are having sex at too young of an age. I feel sex is so glamourized and 'in' right now, that minors engage in sexual activity to feel cool. Sexual pressure is different these days; its no longer by peers, but by the media. For example, the popular show gossip girl (admittedly, one of my favorites) has high school aged characters having sex with multiple partners. I'm not saying its wrong for high school aged kids to have sex, but it should be done safely. And, I'll admit that I was sexually active in high school; but, if i could go back, i would have waited- at least for someone more meaningful. If this club was a haven for promoting safe sex for those who choose to have it, well then, it might be a great opportunity for teens to get useful information. However, I fear it wouldn't be that efficient.

He feels it's wrong to promote high school aged children having sex at all, whether gay or straight. And you know what I agree with him. We need to be encouraging teenagers to wait until they are at least out of high school to have sex. They don't understand the consequences, they know them, but they don't comprehend them. And look at what happens when something does happen. Jamie Lyn Spears is being called a slut because she slept with her boyfriend in a commited relationship and got pregnant. She wasn't out sleeping with 15 different guys, just one. But she got pregnant and that makes her a "slut." As someone who just found out her 16 year old baby sister is pregnant, I think it's important to tell them to wait.

GSAs, in my view, are mainly created when there is a problem at the school that needs to be addressed. They don't sit around and talk about "fudgepacking" and more than straight kids talk about "vadgepacking". It's a support system for those that need it - and, trust me, some schools need it.
He may have or may not have been prejudice against homosexuality, but he does have a good point… a school isn't an appropriate place to have a "sex-based" club…. gay or straight.

Do a bit of research on your chosen religion and don't just believe everything you hear and read.
Children's sexuality should not be an issue in high school. Wait until you are 18 or older to revel in your sexuality. Same applies for those that are straight. High school lays the foundation for the rest of your life. Your personal life should be kept to a minimum — trust me, I learned the hard way.
How come gays and the people that support them want to be able to speak out, but those of us that don't support it can't speak out. You want to talk about being held back, but you hold us back and judge us. You hyprocrites.

After READING the article, I have to say that based on his campus' ABSTINENCE policy, I agree with him. What's next?? A Nympho-club?
