From Iron Man to Ladies Man

Hollywood has a Hugh Hefner biopic in the works, and Robert Downey Jr. is in the lead for the top spot in the film!
After Iron Man's huge and unexpected success, RDJ is one of the hottest properties in town!
It's not a 100 percent done deal, but sources say Hefner has signed off on Downey to play him in the movie, which has the working title Playboy.
Hef reportedly took a liking to Downey after seeing Iron Man and "admiring his humor and skill in showing his vulnerability."
We'd see the movie!

You know apart from all his drug problems, Robert is a very fine actor, I have admired his chops for years. I'm very happy for him that he appears to have deep-sixed his demons. I always thought that he should have won the Oscar for "Chaplin" it was a tour-de-force performance.

RDJ is amazingly talented and although I am happy to see him being appreciated by every one again I feel like no one knew he existed before Iron Man, except for the true fans. To be honest I think playing the role of Hef is degrading- makes him look even more of a womanizer and plus acting with all those bimbos yuck. Of course I will go watch it if he does decide to take the role. I loved Robert since I was first introduced to this beautifully MULTI-talented man and i will continue to support him and love him no matter what movie roles because he is the best and is the only actor who can touch me emotionally. I'm really happy RDJ has been able to get past his "troubles." He's immensely talented and I too would go see him as Hef! RDJ is way sexier, even when Hef was young!
i think he is a great actor, and im glad to see he overcame his drug problems, it took him a while. but at least he didnt succumb to it and drift away. He fought back and is rebuilding his career, he looks great.

It's truer than most of the stuff you stick on this blog. RDJ is one of the most talented and under-rated actors of our time. He's brought a lot of class and experience to every project he's ever worked on–kinda like Mutt Lange.
And Mutt Lange did not have an affair. He is NOT ugly either. I've seen a few pictures of him–the ones he hasn't bought the rights to. I don't know why he is so shy about his appearance. Then again, I've never liked men who were conventionally attractive. Mutt is better looking than most men his age. Hell, he's better looking than ALL the men in the hick town where I live. Mutt and Shania were too different to begin with. Their villa was very secluded, and the isolation got to Shania in the end. Mutt didn't know how to deal with it. He is too busy with his work to worry about his personal life and his marital status. It was like his fifth marriage so I doubt he's crying in his beer. Shania will probably be married to some C&W hunk by the end of next year. The tabloids always like to put a spin on breakups to sell more magazines.
I would hardly called Ironman an "unexpected" success.
