Rapper/'actor' Bow Wow will be joining the boys on Entourage in season 5, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Bow Wow has been cast as Charlie, a new stand-up comic client of E.
Bow Wow tells the Reporter that he's going to focus on acting full time because wants to be like Will Smith. He says, "After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting. I'm going to try to be the next Will Smith."

Bow Wow started doing commercials when he was 4- and his acting skills are FAR BETTER than those played-out nobodies on The Hills and shows of the like. He's talented and wants to branch out- HE WAS PICKED FOR THE ROLL.
I guess he could resolve to get on the net and type negative comments about people he will never know, or sit back and criticize celebrities instead of going out and doing BETTER, or he could hate them for no reason other than jealousy. Yes Bow Wow has been in the music biz for a long time. He was originally discovered by Snoop Doop when he was like six, and thats how he got his name. He is actually a talented rapper, he just lacks the life experience to have something interesting or notable to rap about. A lot like will smith he is an upbeat and soft core rapper. He is attractive and he is not that bad an actor. Nobody in the world expected Will Smith to be the actor he became, so don't sleep on Bow Wow.

The difference is, Bow Wow, that Will was acting that whole time he was doing album. Most people only knew him as an actor from Fresh Prince so it wasn't a stretch for him to jump to movies. I've never even thought of him as a musician - he's an actor and no way in HELL is Bow Wow ever going to be like him…Ugly Betty, anyone? TERRIBLE performance.

Bow Wow is actually a pretty good actor. In Roll bounce, i saw his character, not him. Most singers/rappers cant do that in a movie. He did really well in the rage/crying scene in the movie too.
