    You can start by making it possible for ppl to tell diffrent bills apart also by touch. There is no way to tell the differance between all the american bills except looking at them, so the blind are forced to rely on others. All countries except a handful, less than 10, have differnces between the denominations like some braille, differnt sizes etc. Lame america!!!!!

    Re: FatTony – Funny…try being a 16 year old who can't see and then say it again. Funny when everyone your age is going out on the weekends, learning to drive, dating, trying out for sports and you're at home, doing none of this. Yeah funny unworthwhile cause.

    #13 Idea - Thanks for recognizing another truly basic need that the blind and visually impaired need.

    Also, and then I will get off the soapbox, a visually impaired/blind person used to be able to purchase Descriptive Videos of most major movies once they came out on video, but now with the end of VHS all together, the Hollywood Studios have decided it is too expensive/not worth the effort to put this same format onto DVD so now it will not be possible to even watch a movie without someone sitting next to you describing what is going on. Damn shame with all the money these celebrities and studios make from the public that it's not worth their time.

As a vision rehab therapist, I make a living by teaching those who are blind and visually impaired how to live their lives safely and effectively with little modifications that you (as a sighted person) would probably never think of. — Think about it: Can you get a key in a door lock with your eyes closed?     Thanks for posting this, Perez! My dad lost his eyesight when he was 38 years old. He went on to become a blind golfer and participate in over 100 tournaments before his passing in 2003. He was also an avid fisherman too. As well as an amazing piano player!!!!

    I must say i am unbelievably appalled that people have the animosity to poke fun of the blind. God bless the people who deal with their shortcomings on daily basis, and thank you, Perez, for posting this. For the rest of you who find this funny…what goes around comes around.
