she's big here now in Switzerland and her songs made it to the swisscharts =)

is anyone else sick of 17 year old white girls singing neo soul and blues oriented music in their barefeet? I'd rather listen to 98 degrees, honest to god. At least they knew what they were singing about even if they DIDN'T write their own songs.

16 year old girls dont have the blues. They have puppy love, heartbreak. teenage depression. Billie holiday, she had soul. she knew what being blue was. Joss stone may have a "distressed voice" and "insightfull honest lyrics" but the substance behind them is non existant. A model-esque millionare celbrity at the age of 16-19 is incapable of having the blues. Now having the "crazies," well, we all know that's a different story.

BTW to the fuckin idiot who said germany and switzerland are different countries, you're right actually!!! good job. So what does she sing in, german or "swiss"… (rolllin my eyes_)
