George Lucas and his staff should never be allowed to write a film ever again. This terrible plot was the best they could do in 15 years? Bullshit. I'm sick of people making movies just to please people. The average moviegoer is a complete idiot, this is by far the worst in the series. Shit, I'm just going to pretend this one didn't happen. At least, Iron Man had a brain.

If you are looking for a better film with the Crystal Skulls as a subject is the 1996 Billy Zane starrer The Phantom. An Indiana Jones rip-off, based on a character that pre-dates Indy, is actually what this new Indy film should have been in many ways. Also another film, much better than than even The Phantom is The Rocketeer…a 30s based film…that is actually the best super hero film ever made…sadly very few people have ever seen it!!! Rent it on DVD and you'll love it!!!

If you've followed the former Indiana Jones saga, you'll like this one. Obviously, it was unrealistic but that's what made it so fun - the fantasy of it all. I'm glad they reunited him with Karen Allen, his true love from the first Indiana Jones flick.

Re: Gaby – I agree. I think the only person who would've loved the ending are Tom & Katie.

horrible. I have yet to see a 4th round of a sequel be any good. Even Indy could not do it with is magic lasso. ( oh, I mean whip)

Spielberg and Lucas kind killed one of the heroes of my youth with this movie.
It was an abomination. If you liked the old ones, especially part 1 and 3, you will be really disappointed. HORRIBLE!

It was amazing watching it in Leicester Square in London last Friday. ppl clapped and wooped when Indy first came on the screen and clapped when he did a good move etc. There was a real buzz in the cinema, was a great film. It is seriously worth going to see.

I love the indiana Jones movies, but this one didn't live up to the hype.
It was an ok movie but it didn't have the whole feel or look the other 3 did. The special effects took over and the plot and story where lame. It surely want worth the 15.00 to see it. It is more of a renter or even dare I say it watch it on TV type of movie.

You know what, the alien thing was just their way of keeping with the theme of the 60's- everyone was crazy over aliens and spaceships and Area 51. It was a little over the top and the crystal skull looked way cheap but it was an ok movie.

we went on saturyday and managed to stay for about 20minutes, then we walked out ! this movie sucks! dont waste your money

Allow me to add that Somehow Indy was present for the Roswell alien landing, the Nevada Test Site for an atomic test, he supposedly was a highly decorated counterintelligence operative, (I'm sure Indy helped Elvis buy Graceland and Walter O'Malley to move the Dodgers from Brooklyn to L.A.) all while maintaining his day job at the university which he lost because the FBI made inquiries about him. This movie was dumbed down so kids and retards could enjoy it.

Lucas is under the impression that he can only sell to children (see the remastered IV, V, and VI Star Wars.) The fact that they are even considering Shia LeDouche to replace Ford in the next film (he almost wore the hat and is now called "Junior") is absolutely insane.

      126

movie sucked. this was a disgrace to the original trilogy. the acting and dialogue was cheezy. it was close encounters of the third kind meets indiana jones… and thats not a good thing. the original idea i heard was lucas wanted to do indiana jones and the saucer man. this really wasn't that far off.

      such a waste of money!!!
