That was a weird appearance. Dina was so deFENsive, and not very likable. She did veeerrryy little to endear herself to anybody. and lil Ali just kept repeating her pre-recorded messages,"I've learned alot from my sister. What to do, and what not to do". Not one original word came out of her. Poor thing. And Dina seems thrilled with being in the limelight! Just look at her mane of hair, her false eyelashes, she is done to the nines. A bit TOO glamorous for a simple, suburban mom…sure, honey.
She needs to do something purely selfless, for the good of others, not one more famewhore act of (self)"daughter" promotion. Because all this "promoting" of the great Lohan family is starting to resemble Donald Trump saying, I'm doing a deal that's gonna be huge. It's gonna make me so much money..we just tune him out so we dont barf.
But we know. We can't stop these creatures.
They seem really normal actually. It's just terrible what being in Hollywood can do to a family.
Ok, I don't personally know Dina Lohan..but she does seem like a stage mom and like she is pimping out her children to maybe make up a career she never had. I'm not saying that's how it went with Ali, perhaps she pimped out Lindsay and Ali growing up with it saw all the attention big sis was getting and wanted that spotlight. So this was Dina's perfect chance to get her 15 min. of fame by doing a reality show to not only showcase her other daughter, but her "powerful" business woman self. Her own way into so called "fame."
And it's sad to say, but no matter what Ali does she will always be in Lindsay's shadow because Lindsay was first and she is the more well known one. If Ali's career picks up then I'm happy for her, but since she is Lindsay's sister I don't know. I mean come on, even David Letterman accidently called her Lindsay and I bet that wasnt the first or it will be the last time that will happen. All the interviews Ali has been doing there is always a bigger mention of Lindsay then on herself. I think her smarter move would have been to not associate her name with Lindsay, not because of embarrassment, but to establish her own self without everyone thinking of Lindsay first when they see her.
Oh man, yeah I just don't know about these 2. Part of me is like, ok give them a break, they're real people and they're just trying to live. But another part of me wonders what normal mother is on a reality tv show. I can see why she'd be defensive, it must be hard to see your children be ridiculed, but I don't know how proactive it is to make a reality show where all you do is tell people they are wrong about you. I'm sorry, but people are going to believe what they believe and if you know they're wrong, why even take the time to make a reality show in the first place? Meh, oh well. Best of luck to them.
