Love the dress, yes. Suits her! However, I wonder why she doesn't part her hair on the side. I know the long wavy hair, parted in the middle, is her chosen "look", but a side part would flatter her long face SO much more (shorten it rather than lengthen it as her middle part does). Actually, I think a middle part rarely looks good on anyone (including Madonna and her copycat pal Gwynnie). But I do really like this flowing, shimmery, glamourous choice for the NYC premiere!

That "Unsexiest Woman Alive" thing has really gotten to her…this dress is boring and typically "pretty," some shit that tacky women like Carrie Underwood and Beyonce might wear. I hate it. And I hate that this has affected her…she was clearly willing to take more chances at the European premiere. In America she looks like a fucking contestant in a beauty pageant. Go figure.

Re: great dress; but try a side hair part! – ahaa! that's it. Gwenyth copies Madonna! I'm so glad I read this…believe it or not, I'd never gotten it exactly right in my head. I know as far back as last decade Madonna was frenching her whilst dancing on tables at parties but I had never connected it… It's why she looks so contrived…the clothes themselves are hot, but she appears almost laden in them. Like she's being eaten by fabric. Poor plain Jane.
