The reason the world laughs at you and your family, Jessica is because you don't have any real talent. You need to stick with one thing rather than doing everything in the world and sucking at it. I personally would put all my marbles in the clothing line if I were you, Jess. Country music would have been a good start but you can't just go changing careers like you do your personality for guys. People don't buy into wannabes. Never act again. If you must sing choose ONE genre and work hard at it. BE YOURSELF. Ignore your father. Go back to Nick and things might change.

While I'm not a fan of this, and it's clearly an attempt at making money of the only genre in music that is still making money… I can easily say her voice is far better suited for county.

Surprisingly not half as bad as I expected it to be.
It sounds more "pop" than Country to me though, but then again, all music is starting to sound the same nowadays.
Nontheless, not terrible, I wouldn't say it will be her next hit… But its not horrendous.

I like Jessica Simpson. There's nothing wrong with her trying something else out. She has a nice voice. She sounds like every other country singer out right now. Nothing that sets her apart from anyone. The song is weak, lyrics are dumb… I think she could nail it if she had the right song.

Tell Daddy that you're a big girl now, get out from under his control (seriously, he looks and acts like he's your jealous lover), and do some soul searching to find out what it is you really should be doing with your life. We all know it's not acting or singing. Better yet, just get married, have a butt load of kids, and live happily ever after out of the spotlight. Trust me, you'll be tons happier.
