Malawi's Newest Citizen?

Malawi is reportedly making Madonna an honorary citizen.
The nation thinks it's a fitting way to pay tribute to all the great things Madge has done for the country.
Her Madgesty has provided funds to several orphanages in the land and has helped feed and educate thousands of youngsters across the country.
She's also set to open a girls' school near the capital to help the underprivileged.
Plus, she recently made a documentary film about the African country and, of course, she adopted her son, David, from there.
The only thing left for her to do is have a summer house in Malawi and do some time there, but we don't think that will happen!

I lived in Malawi last summer working on an HIV/AIDS awareness program and what Madonna has done for this country is absolutely wonderful. I can tell you first hand that the locals would also agree. All of her negative media attention is absolute BS.
