Abuse + Drugs = Divorce

Bill Murray's wife of 11 years has filed for divorce.
And she's dropping bombshells!
The soon to be ex-Mrs. Murray cites some dark reasons for filing the divorce.
She alleges abusive behavior, drug and alcohol addiction, and frequent abandonment by the former Saturday Night Live star.
Bill Murray's lawyer says the actor is deeply saddened by the breakup and is committed to the best interests of the couple's four children.
This divorce is gonna get messy.

I just dont think someone's messy divorce is funny or entertaining. It might be entertaining if it was an 11 day marriage, but 11 years and 4 kids is a huge investment and not entertainment.

This should NOT be news to anyone who knows Murray's reputation.
He is an angry, bitter, mean-spirited man. People have put up with him for a long time, but he is an a-hole. He was so angry when he didn't get the Oscar for "Lost in Translation". That wife is going to spill all the beans- I can't wait to read all about it!

Met him a few years ago in Chicago, real strange bird, he hit on my very young friend and kept giving her $100 bills. She had no clue who he was. Doesn't surprise me, but he is a great talent.

These types of allegations have gotten so common in divorce cases, and are usually so false that one judge in New York threatened couples, telling them if somebody brought up allegations of child abuse against a spouse they were divorcing that were later found out to be provably false they would lose custody of the children. I would be careful giving any credibility to the wifes claims here unless she can back them up. My bet is, it's aploy by her lawyers to try to publicly embarrass him and to get him to settle quickly.
Lovesit? Seriously? Taking pleasure in someone else's problems is just sad. You don't even know this woman…or Bill Murray for that matter. I love this website but I was disgusted to read this post. This family is breaking up and that woman and her kids are in for some serious heartache…are you honestly happy about that you sick fuck??

I think this a sad thing. I hope the children will be ok and I hope that they get the proper counseling. I hope Bill Murray did not hit his wife. Divorce is a very tough time and I hope he comes out of this a stronger man.

Sounds like she is angling for more cash. I find it hard to believe she didn't know these things about him (if true) before she married him. I'm certainly against domestic violence, but I'm sure there is quite a bit of money at stake here.
