couldnt disagree with you more. there are no safety devices on motorcycles.
no seat belts and no airbags. if you get into a car accident, good chance you'll walk away. if you get in a motorcycle accident, good chance you wont walk away. BASIC COMMON SENSE!!!!

    70. U.A. says – reply to this

      70

He absolutely was wearing a helmut, that's the law here in New Brunswick. That won't keep you from breaking your neck or anything else, unfortunately, I lost a friend in high school and an uncle in motorcycle accidents.

New Brunswick lost another precious son, RIP.

Re: Alexis – if he was on a motorcycle, he WAS wearing a helmet so that was pointless to say. when you're on a motorcycle, no matter how much protective gear, you're no match for a tractor-trailer. I've lost too many friends in motorcycle accidents who did EVERYTHING right.

What a sad loss of life, Rest in Peace.

@ #9 Alexis… i'm sure he was wearing a helmet, in Canada they are mandatory in all provinces, unlike the States where it's optional in many places, which amazes me since it's such common sense, then again in the states seatbelts weren't even mandatory in all states either until recent years, that is even if they are now?

TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO THINK MOTORCYCLES ARE THE REASON THAT SO MANY PEOPLE ARE KILLED IN MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS:

THE PEOPLE RIDING THE MOTORCYCLES ARE NOT THE PROBLEM

THE IDIOTS DRIVING IN CARS,TRUCKS,SUV'S AND SO FORTH ARRREEE THE PROBLEM!!!!! IF PEOPLE ON THE ROAD WERE MORE AWARE AND CAUTIOUS THERE WOULD BE FARRR LESS ACCIDENTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I KNOW SOMEONE WHO WAS KILLED ON A MOTORCYCLE BY A DRUNK DUMB ASS UNDER-AGE GIRL WHO PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF HIM ONLY ALLOWING HIM 3 FEET TO TRY AND STOP!!!!!!!
      HE WASN'T HURTING ANYONE
      HE WAS NOT SPEEDING
      HE WAS WEARING A HELMET
HE WAS OUT HAVING A SAFE QUICK RIDE AND A IDIOT TEENAGER TOOK THAT AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!

DO NOT BLAME THE PERSON ON THE MOTORCYCLE FOR ENJOYING THEIR LIFE

BLAME THE MORONS IN THE CARS WHO HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE PEOPLE ON THE MOTORCYCLES AND SHOW NO CAUTION

AND FOR ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO KEEP POSITNG

You're a moron. Who are you to presume that he wasn't wearing a helmet? Way to disrespect the dead.

I am a die hard fan of the Canucks, and when I woke up to this news this morning, I was utterly heartbroken and cried for a good hour. I had the pleasure of meeting Luc Bourdon when he was still playing junior hockey. He was a very kind, friendly, funny, down-to-earth person He will be sorely missed.
