A pale and glum Kiki Drunkst was spotted in SoHo, NYC, on Wednesday.
It looks like she's still got some "issues" to work through!
Kirsten revealed this week that she entered rehab recently due to depression, not drugs or alcohol.
However, there have been reports that she may be lying about that!

As someone whose experienced depression. I think that she should be applauded for seeking treatment not scorned because she doesn't want to tell the world she suffers from another dehabilitating condition. The depression likely caused the substance abuse.
If you had any idea what it felt like being unable to feel happiness, you would never be writing something like this. Shame on you.
I think people should leave her alone. People who suffer from depression often use drugs and alcohol as a way to self-medicate and it doesn't necessarily mean they have issues with drugs and alcohol. Dealing with the underlying mental health issue is the best thing to do. I think posts like this continue to stigmatize mental illness and that as someone influential in the media you should be more careful. We should be congratulating her for admitting she needed help and for opening up about it - perhaps she will convince others out there to deal with their problems. It is to be admired and not made fun of.

one last thing, i swear. Depression isn't treated that easily, perez. You don't just go to rehab ad come back w/o problems. Its like any mental illness, you live with it your entire life, its a daily struggle, something you are treated for for a long time. She probs went to rehab cuz it was so bad, cuz she couldn't function, she has jerks like you watching hr every move, or maybe even she was suicidal. so shut up.

I think it was brave of her to publicly acknowledge the fact that she suffers from depression and sought help. so many people do not seek help and the consequences can be devestating. I find it terrible and unfair that she is being accused of lying. I suffer from depression and when I sought help (only after repeated attempts to take my life) I entered a program that was geared toward drug/alcohol dependency, many depressed person as you may know seek comfort in substances rather than face thier illness. these dependencies are a product of the depression and in order to treat the main problem you must address the other negative behaviors. so i guess i'm really just saying, give her a fucking break.

As much as I don't like her, I think she could be telling the truth…to a certain extent. I think she is getting treated for depression and some type of substance abuse. I just checked the website for Cirque Lodge and it doesn't say anything about psychological treatment alone. If she does have depression then she would have been put on an anti-depressant which will take about 4-6 weeks to make any difference, so yes, she wouldn't look happier yet.

Re: Eggroll – actually tanning has killed people. there is a huge increase in skin cancer for women between 18-30 over the last couple of years and the only correlation is the increase in tanning bed use.

We are so strongly trying to educate men and women in our country about depression to stop all the damage it does. Men need to learn that it's OK to talk about and in general everyone needs to speak up as depression leads to suicide so people with it need to be helped! If you have never suffered from it you won't understand but understand it is something to NEVER BE JOKED ABOUT! Good for Kirsten for getting help and speaking up!!!!!! I have recently been to rehab- it was SUCH a hassle to get in, they ask so many questions about drug usage- because REHAB is about ADDICTION and RECOVERY FROM addiction. Rehab shows an ADDICT/ALCOHOLIC how to manage their lives so they can be successful, serene people. There is no "rehab" program for being exhausted. That is called just plain old hospitalization, not REHAB! There is NO shame in needing rehab. Atleast she GOT HELP instead of allowing her addiction to ruin her life like so many other people!!! It's a cunning enemy and I am PROUD to be on the road to conquering it… but. rehab is for recovery of addiction, not being tired.
