Rushed to the emergency room - again!
Reports are that Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized Thursday night and just recently released.
Apparently, while on a flight yesterday from NYC to LA, LaLohan was having trouble breathing.
So much so that she had to ask for a warm compress to help the pain she was getting in her chest, reportedly due to her asthma.
Uh huh. "Asthma!"
Lindsay was supposedly hesitant about going to the hospital, fearing that the paparazzi would be there.
She ended up going to a Los Angeles hospital due to her difficulty breathing, and after spending two hours in the ER was released.
What could have been the reason? Is it really asthma?
Maybe it's the cigarette smoke??? Or worse!

im 18 and have had to deal with asthma for my entire life. just last week i came home from paris and while flying i started having trouble breathing. when you have an asthma attack it is really scary. it feels like someone is holding a pillow over both your mouth and your nose. not being able to breath is one of the scariest things i have ever felt and my asthma isnt even bad, it is moderate. alot of ppl only get asthma attacks when in high altitudes, or when under a lot of stress. i havnt had an asthma attack in 3 years then out of knowhere i got one on the plane. it could very well be her asthma that made her land in the hospital. and i agree she should not be smoking, it is one of the stupdiest things an asthmatic could do. when having an asthma attack the last thing you need is a bunch of ignorant ppl speculating as to what is wrong with you, it just makes the situation worse then it already is.

Aside from asthma, doctors could have also been concerned it might be a pulmonary embolism. There has been incidence of clots forming in a person's leg/s due to remaining stationary for prolonged periods of time (along with risk factors such as smoking). The clot could dislodge from the leg and migrate into a person's lungs….and displaying symptoms such as shortness of breath.

The girl does have Asthma, thats no secret and she smokes…..I have asthma as well and like a dumbass I smoke also. But seeing as she is always out partying and shit, her own cigarettes combined with the second hand smoke in a club, not to mention the fake smoke or fog that some clubs use (i have problems with that stuff as well). Also I have problems flying I'm not sure what it is about the air on a plane but I always feel like my asthma is bothering me as soon they pressurize the cabin and I start breathing the recycled air. Even my inhaler doesn't help much.
I can understand after partying it up in clubs, chain smoking and then a long flight. I wouldn't be feeling right either. Girl needs to take better care of herself and she also needs to carry a rescue inhaler everywhere she goes but if the attack is bad enough an inhaler doesn't help. For once give her a break if she in fact was hospitalized it could have very well been for a severe asthma attack.

Asthma is a SERIOUS condition. I have it and have experienced trouble on planes due to restricted air. Don't make light of it; it is very serious. Imagine being suffocated with a bag- thats what it feels like for an asthmatic.

Now that we don't stay up for 2 days straight partying, I can't even remember the last time he had an attack. Not taking care of yourself (ie - not eating properly, smoking or doing drugs) makes manageable ailments unmanageable.

If you had ANY part of a brain you would know that HEAT aka a warm compress DIALATES (Means it would OPEN UP ) anything it is on …… so it would help open up her mainstem and her terminal brochioles (large and small airways) . Planes do not have albuterol or magnesium sulfate to give to someone in an emergency when they are having an asthma attack!!
