While her new CD continues to bomb in record sales…
Asslee Wentz has just cancelled FOUR shows on her upcoming summer tour.
While there has yet to be an official explanation given for the cancellation, sources tell us it is due to poor ticket sales.
And, we're hearing that Ass' entire tour may be cancelled and that the Simpson camp (Poppa Joe) will claim that his newly married daughter is gonna take it easy this summer as that is what's best for her baby.
The list of cancelled shows (as of today) include:
"06/09 House of Blues - Chicago, IL
06/24 The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza - New York, NY
06/27 Cape Cod Medley Tent - Hyannis, MA
07/01 Capital One Bank Theatre at Westbury - Westbury, NY"

Excuses, that's all they want to give. Jlo toured with two freaking babies in her belly, as did Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera. Gwen and Christina were in their first trimester performing, and this poser has moved past hers.The only reason the "tour" is cancelled is because nobody wants to go see her, let alone pay to hear her music.
I'm actually a big fan of Ashlee's new record. It's very different and I didn't get into it right away, but now I listen to it and sing along every time I am in the car. I'm sad I won't be seeing her in concert this year. I went to her concert two summers ago and I thought she was amazing. AND, she wasn't lip syncing!!!

I've never thought she and Jessica are THAT bad, but they aren't all that brilliantly talented and have had shitty press in the past. Everyone now knows that Ashlee was forced to marry Pete Wentz so fast because she's got knocked up. I think she got pregnant deliberately to get him to marry her, so stupid of her and her parents must have been well pissed at the thought of their youngest getting pregnant BEFORE marriage! Not a wise move and Pete will never give up on Fall Out Boy and the fans are tired of her getting in the way. He will be touring while she's looking after a baby, there is no way she and a baby will travel on tour with his band. She's a fool and should've gone on the tour as planned and realize that she DOES have a lot of fans still left who DO care about her music, because Ashlee is actually more successful and a better pop singer than Jessica ever has been!!

I actually like her new cd and wish she was touring near me, but isn't. The cd is completely different from her old stuff but it isn't as horrible as it's being made out to be. Give it a chance.
