She sounds very good for someone who is not a trained musician. I hang around professional musicians a lot and you can tell the difference.
Secondly, she took a lot of voice lessons to be able to do this role. She doesn't want to be a singer, she had to sing for the role - there is a big difference here between Scarlett and her.
Thirdly, she is a very good actress. She was wonderful in Pride and Predjudice and Atonement. Maybe her early work wasn't great (granted), but she has done pretty damn good work in the last two years and before people leave comments they should look at those two movies.
She is one of the better actresses in her early twenties.

and yes keira is a great actress she is getting better now shes older she was 17 in the first pirates movie now she has learned more about movies.
and also at lease keira tryed hard to sing in this move actresses like that Marion Cotillard and penelope cruz didn't sing at all in there movies but people gave them lots of credit for it (oscar noms each)
She is terrible, she can't hold a note, she is warbly. Not to mention even with audio enhancement she is offkey, ppl who like this are clearly tone deaf and know nothing about singing. She is fucking horrible!

and how the hell do you know what the production of the song is like you wasn't there there for you don't know how keira sings live lets wait untell she does then judy, and this movie is set in the 1930's/40's so its the music thats why she's singing like this its the style of music from that era
