Wow, are people on this site critical much?

She sounds very good for someone who is not a trained musician. I hang around professional musicians a lot and you can tell the difference.

Secondly, she took a lot of voice lessons to be able to do this role. She doesn't want to be a singer, she had to sing for the role - there is a big difference here between Scarlett and her.

Thirdly, she is a very good actress. She was wonderful in Pride and Predjudice and Atonement. Maybe her early work wasn't great (granted), but she has done pretty damn good work in the last two years and before people leave comments they should look at those two movies.

She is one of the better actresses in her early twenties.

SHE HAD SINGING LESSON GET OVER IT keira is and actress not a singer scarlett on the other hand WANTS to start a carrer in music so she has to be great live keira only doing this for a movie and might not sing ever agian yet shes better than scarlett.
and yes keira is a great actress she is getting better now shes older she was 17 in the first pirates movie now she has learned more about movies.
and also at lease keira tryed hard to sing in this move actresses like that Marion Cotillard and penelope cruz didn't sing at all in there movies but people gave them lots of credit for it (oscar noms each)
