I think it's really her, but it's prerecorded so she's lipsyncing herself…but it's horrible. even with the editing and digital enhancement and whatever else they probably did to it, if i had a dog, he'd be howling right now. she's completely tone deaf. i didn't actually listen to the scarjo clip, so if this is better, i'm really glad i skipped it! as it is i think my ears are bleeding. and btw, before some immature morons start calling me jealous, i was an opera major at Indiana University…for those who don't know, they have one of the very best music schools in the entire world. so sorry, perez, you're usually good at picking out talented singers and good music, but this does NOT deserve to be labeled "not to shabby"!!

It's hilarious how many people insist on making themselves look stupid by claiming that's not Keira singing.

Keira sings three songs in this film and they'll be on the soundtrack as well. This has been known for months. It was first reported by a newspaper journalist who was actually on set when some of it was performed. Both the director and the composer attached to the movie have spoken about it as well.

It actually is her singing. She does have a bit of a background in singing; she auditioned for the lead role in "Phantom of the Opera", but lost it to Emmy Rossum. So, yes, she can sing.

The argument that because her voice is low means it can't be her voice because she is singing high is silly. Look at Mariah Carey. She has a pretty low speaking voice and can hit ridiculously high notes. It's called having vocal range. Anyone with any vocal experience should know that.

And yes, she is pretty thin. She's 5'7 and her measurements are 32-22-33. Personally, I would never want to be that thin because I like having curves. However, that's how she is so leave her alone. If everyone were the same size then the world would be boring.
