Nina Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens flat-out lied to Sarah Jessica Parker.
The Sex & The City star wore his dress (above) to the New York premiere of the film this week and she and her stylist asked if anyone had ever wore the dress before and been photographed in it.
Theyskens assured Parker no on both accounts.
Well, he fucking lied - twice!
Throngs of paparazzi photographed Lindsay Lohan wearing that outfit a few months ago at a commercial shoot. And, making this even worse, socialite Lauren (Davis) Santo Domingo accompanied Olivier to the Met's Costume Institute Gala in May and was also photographed wearing that dress.
Parker spoke to The New York Times about the dress fiasco.
She says:
“In the big picture, this is not important, but there is a relationship between the entertainment industry and fashion. We’ve watched sales dwindle and we’ve watched people be less inclined to spend money on clothes.”
To Parker, these are reasons for companies to take particular care with their relationships. “Look, my affection for the dress hasn’t changed,” she said, “but what they did was so short-sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.”
Parker says she remarked to Theyskens during the fitting that she was surprised the dress hadn’t been worn before. He assured her it hadn’t.
“He didn’t say, ‘Well, actually I just escorted Lauren down the red carpet at the Met.’ ” said Parker, adding, “I just wish it had been handled differently and they had been straight about it.”

Im DISGUSTED! Not at the studpid dress but that this is a big deal. There are people starving in the streets, children getting abused, people dying of a million diseases and THIS is whats important in her life?? Wow so so self centered, thats sick!

First of all, I like SJP as an actress & she's great in the whole Sex and the City franchise. I love the show, her character, etc etc. And her walk is mean too.
BUT!!!!……
I don't like when a fundamentally unattractive girl is portrayed as a hot chick. You can be portrayed as an average-looking girl with expensive tastes. Instead, they portray this chick is a hot girl. STOP THE NONSENSE!!! This woman has a face like a foot. Better yet, a face like a witch - big boskus nose with the wart & long crescent moon-shaped face. All she's missing is the green skin & the broom! Kristin Davis (Charlotte), THAT'S an example of a naturally attractive girl. And SJP talks in these interviews like she's Eva Mendes, or Angelina, or some other chick that guys drool over. She just comes off that way… AND FOR WHAT! She needs to come off a bit more humbly than she is.
Oh the dress thing: Ummm… my opinion is… if you're not a hot chick to begin with, a guy doesn't give 2 shits what dress you wore because you're not pleasing to the eye to begin with.
