The only thing I find "Hilarious" about this posting is the people that think they are so clever with the "it's an insult to horses" line……It wasn't funny the first time someone said it. Perez can say and do what he wants with his website and I'll agree with that, but SJP is one of the nicest people around and there was really no reason to start this thread. I don't get the cult of adoration on here for SJP. Honestly, none of us have any idea if she is a good mom or not. Anyone can fake that on the talk show circuit. Her handlers tell her exactly what to say and do. We do know she is a fashionista and an alright actress, that's it. This site is terrific publicity for her. Sure the joke is a bit mean, but when you make your living based on how you look, it's fair game. It would be entirely different if the website went out and got pictures of everyday women and matched them to animals. Oh wait - they do that - with pictures of people who look just like their dogs. And we all laugh when we see those, but some how, we need to protect a grown woman who CHOSE this career. I seriously don't think she's wasting tears on this silly site. She is on her way to the bank with the $$ she's making. Thanks in part to the publicity this gives her.

And perhaps her handlers don't tell her what to do. But do you REALLY know that? Unless you are a personal friend you don't. Not one of us really knows a celebrity. We know what they want us to. They're like politicians, supporting causes they believe in AND that build their careers. Do you honestly think she'd join a cause if it would somehow hurt her career. (ie. left politics, union organizing or perhaps a right-wing political think tank?) I see no reason to join your group of adorers. And I don't see any reason to protect her from a silly website. If she has that much going for her, I doubt she is worried about this. And regardless of what you may think, she is getting some good publicity out of this. We are talking about her. I've seen her on talk shows where she commented on how hurt she was when she was picked one of the ugliest women in a Maxim poll. I saw her on Larry King taking phone calls from her fans and she was so sweet to them. It just hurt me to see her made fun of when she didn't deserve it. She's always been kind to others. It's all part of the Hollywood hero-worship mentality. I'm sure she was hurt by the maxxim pole, but she is an actress by choice. She makes her living presenting herself as one of the beautiful people. It goes with the territory.
