We told y'all earlier about Tatum O'Neal's drug bust Sunday night for buying crack (it's whack!).
Well, a few more details about the actual bust have emerged.
And they're priceless!
When the police approached O'Neal during the drug exchange she asked them, 'You know who I am, right?"
And then she said, "I'm researching a part - I'm doing this for a part…as a junkie."
Shit, Amy Winehouse needs to start acting.
Then at least she'd have an "excuse"!

That is actually the exact same line that Winonna Ryder used when she got busted for shoplifting. Of course a quick check with her publicist confirmed that there had been no parts offered to her to research. You would think after seeing it didn't work for Winonna Tatum would have known better than to use that stupid line.

I read her book, A Paper Life, and it was so sad, her mother neglected her and her brother, lied, drank,and was a mother that could be thrown in jail for all kinds of endangerment if she had been examined. and her father was (is) an egomaniacal abuser who chose his girlfriends over his kids, even screwing her BFF, melanie griffith. Tatum has had it really hard. Nether of her parents were there the night she won her oscar, at age 8!! And John MacEnroe was no picnic either!! I feel awful for Tatum, her life has been painful.
I love you Tatum..your life is an inspiration to others that have no hope.

I've always liked Tatum and feel bad for her. She comes from such a dysfunctional family and felt huge pressure at such a young age. She needs to get some help obviously and I hope she finds her way. Paper Moon is one of my all time favourite movies. Check it out if you haven't seen it. She is adorable in it and her performance gained her the youngest Oscar win ever.

k love this site and everything.. but you obviously dont know about addiction.. people dont need to "check into rehab" every time they slip up.. addiction is a hard disease to deal with.. and almost all addicts will slip up throughout their lifetime.. and they dont need rehab every time they make a mistake.. going to meetings and realizing what they did was wrong is a GOOD thing and the right step to take.. i just hate when people comment or joke about being addicted to drugs.. addicts dont do drugs for fun and they dont deserve to get made fun of for it.. and this is coming from a heroin addict of 5 years- who was clean for 2 and have slipped up many times recently.. you posted that thing about the suicide hotline and that people should get help.. just so you know, many addicts contemplate suicide when they are in their addictions.. it is a very depressing thing to deal with and sometimes it feels hopeless.. if youre going to post things about celebs on drugs, try to feel sorry for them and not make fun of them.. i love this site but you are SUCH a hypocrite, and obviously dont know much about the real world.. you need to know your facts before you make a joke about something so serious
