It's no secret that 47 year old Oscar winner, married with kids thespian Tilda Swinton has a little something something on the side with German painter Sandro Kopp, aged 29.
She does him and the hubby don't mind!
Turns out that Swinton's husband, writer John Byrne, has also been engaged in extracurricular activities for the past 2 years as well - with Tilda's blessing.
How progressive!
Byrne told the British media, "Tilda knows all about it and is more than happy with the situation. It's all very relaxed and very amicable. She has Sandro and the arrangement works very well."
He also said that despite his special relationship, he and Tilda are still very much a couple.
Crazy, crazy, but if it works for them, so be it!

They're a polyamorous couple and I personally don't see anything wrong with it if all parties involved know what's going on. My best friends are polys and although I am strictly dickly with my man - I do not judge. It works for them and they are all happy. So goes the world.
Polyamory is the way to go! Everyone gets everything they want and need. I would kill for a relationship like that, except for a couple more girls in the mix for me would be awesome

Hate to tell ya perez fans (and count me in) but i know a lot of gossip here comes from the daily mail uk as did this one.
It's really hard to find one partner who has all inclusive. So sometimes two get it right. Of course, it's better if one has all, but that doesn't happen too often. And besides - it's practical. But there are not many people who do it and let the partner do as well.

Tilda is a wonderfully eccentric noncomformist. What's it to any of you that two consenting, like-minded adults have an open relationship? They are supportive and honest with each other. They seem happy with their arrangement. In a world full of life-threatening things to be unhappy about, why get your knickers in a twist over a couple who found a way to contentedly live their lives on their own unique terms?
A marriage is composed of two people who both still have the need to grow as individuals. After a long time as a couple, the option for growth is more limited, even though the couple may still love each other. One way of continuing individual growth is through finding outside interests, relationships, friendships, or love, with other people. It seems like Tilda and her husband have found an arrangement that works for them, while still acknowledging their bond through their marriage and long-term partnership. People, and love itself, are always changing, and that needs to be respected. This is not always the case in marriages, which so often end up in failure. I believe this is one possibility for the future of love, and my hat is off to this progressive couple.
They are not POLYAMOROUS. She and the father of her children have a platonic relationship, though they keep residence together. They sleep with their respective lovers, not each other. Just thought I'd point that out. My understanding from articles is that it's for their children's sake. They are a "couple", just not your typical couple.

I love my husband but he cannot be a woman and he's okay allowing that part of me that needs a woman. So long as the other person in my life understands he is still number 1. No it's not conventional but life is never black and white, there are shades of grey. I would never espouse it for others but do not force me to live like you either. BTW we do nothave kids and yeah I would guess that would cause some confusion. Depends on how discreet they are.

I fell in like with Tilda Swinton when I saw her in Orlando (the Movie) in 1992. She is exquisitely and strikingly beautiful. It was beautiful, and reminded me of Prospero's Books (after Shakespeare's "The Tempest") with Sir John Gielgud. I saw The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, And Her Lover—at about the same time. They were really making some good art films at that time.
Tilda was a contemporary and acquaintance of Princess Diana. And is from one of the oldest families of Scotland. She is a member of the highest art and literary circles of Europe. The words "sophisticated" and "classy" seem plain and inadequate when trying to describe this 21st century Lady.
