Hilarious!

THIS is the statement released by Amy Winehouse's publicist after her embarrassing and unprofessional performance at the Rock in Rio festival in Portugal this past weekend.

"Amy was overwhelmed by the goodwill shown by the audience in Lisbon and even apologised for her below par vocals on stage, after suffering from a sore throat all week.

She was given the option to cancel, but was determined to take her first step back on to the live scene and although her throat was not at 100 per cent, Amy felt it important for fans to see that she is back working at her craft.

She will continue to her comeback at events throughout the summer."

The only craft Amy Winehouse is working on these days is crack and smack!

It sounds to me like the publicist is trying to put the blame of her bad performance on a sore throat, not on the fact so many people are trying to make money out of exploiting Amy when she is not capable of making any decisions, let alone performing.

Yes, the name of the event is called Rock in Rio because, originally, and for a long time, the show was made in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). But the last 3 editions of the show were in Lisbon, Portugal. It is one of the massives summer music festivals we have here in Portugal (along with Sudoeste, Optimus Alive, Super Bock Super Rock and Paredes de Coura).
