On Tuesday, Brad Pitt was at Art Basel in Switzerland (despite "sightings" in Houston, Texas).

The soon-to-be daddy of six bought a few pricey items at the art fair.

Amongst them: 2 Max Lamb Bronze Poly Chairs and "Family Lamp" by Atelier van Lieshout, pictured above.

The items look sturdy. Sturdy enough to survive the Branglina brood.

Wonder what Brad would think of our Macy's and Ikea furniture?

Are his new items eco friendly???

      Brad Pitt cares nothing about the environment. If he did he would not be travelling in private planes, own six or seven houses. It is completely ridiculous to spout off as an environmentalist if you travel via private plane ANYWHERE. I could drive a Hummer for five years and not waste as much fuel as one Lear Jet RT from California to France. So, I don't give a SHIT if Brad Pitt's furniture is eco friendly, because it doesn't make him "GREEN". I'm so sick of these fuckin' celebrities like Julia Roberts telling me how to live. How'd you get to the Oprah Show Julia? Unless you took the bus or rode your bicycle, you ain't living as green as me in little 'ol Portland, OR. So fuck you.

      Smithville has returned to normal. The cast and crew of Terrence Malick’s “Tree of Life” wrapped up the 1940’s-1960s portion of the ambitious film and are off to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah after a couple days filming in Houston.

      Later, the film will shoot in Iceland, of all places. These locations suggest that “Tree of Life,” starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, is the film Malick wrote in the late ’70s after making “Days of Heaven.”

      Originally titled “Q,” the movie starts in prehistoric times and ends in the far future, although the bulk of the film follows a family (Pitt as father and Jessica Chastain as mother of three boys) from 1947 through 1968. Most of the filming took place at 709 Burleson St., where the title tree remains.

      Malick and company threw a Smithville Appreciation party Friday night at the gazebo downtown.
