Guy Ritchie has been tapped to direct Warner Bros. upcoming Sherlock Holmes feature film, expected to debut in 2010.
With Mr. Madonna's help, execs at Warners are aiming to reinvent Holmes and sidekick Dr. John H. Watson.
Guy Ritchie directing a movie not starring Madonna = a good thing.
We hope he's happy to be doing something completely his own again.

This is EXCELLENT news!!! I am a huge fan of the sherlock Holmes stories and I really enjoy Guy Ritchie's films. I think this is a brilliant combination.
